Want to Get More From Your BDR?
We'll shadow your BDR in the cloud
Maybe you are considering, or have invested in BDRs because an onsite hardware-based appliance provides one of the safest choices for a local disaster recovery solution. Unfortunately doing test restores of your BDRs isn’t easy, and is most often a manual, arduous, and time-consuming task, which puts you at risk if the BDR fails to restore when servers crash or a disaster strikes.
What if you could have a high availability solution that ensured the reliability and redundancy of your local BDR? Doyenz delivers rapid recovery, with the ShadowCloud™, you can count on reliable and rapid recovery of your server image backups every time, ensuring that you have your client back up and running in no time. The ShadowCloud not only gives you a secure, cost effective solution you need in a high availability solution, but you can use it in combination with your BDR to provide complete redundancy and data protection for your client needs.
- Rapid, reliable, cloud recovery and failover
- Validate data with fast, easy test restores
- Installs in minutes with your BDR
- No appliance or upfront investment required
How it works
Can I still use my existing BDR that my client paid for?
As long as your BDR leverages StorageCraft ShadowProtect the ShadowCloud solution can work alongside an existing BDR.
How difficult is it to switch from a Zenith/Datto or other BDR to the Doyenz ShadowCloud?
It is very straightforward. The ShadowCloud works with StorageCraft ShadowProtect in continuous mode. All you have to do is start a new backup chain, and send Doyenz the server base image which can be done via upload or shipping us a disk.
Does Doyenz offer a BDR unit?
Not at this time.
Do I need to purchase additional Storageraft or other licenses?
It depends on the existing solution being used.
What if my client has a long term contract with a BDR vendor?
The ShadowCloud is compatible with all BDRs running StorageCraft ShadowProtect.
If I use Doyenz does the BDR operate any differently on-site?
No
